Clinical Trial Leadership

I currently serve as the lead researcher on a large scale clinical trial (n=50) studying how hemiparetic stroke survivors use an assistive myoelectric exoskeleton over the course of a year.

This study paticularly aligns with my interest in factors that result in long term utility of assistive neurotechnologies.

Understanding how patients use an assitive neurotechnology in the clinic and at home over the span of a year will inform what works well and what value a Myoelectric Exoskeleton provides in the completion of activities of daily living.

My responsibilities for this study include:

• Patient Interactions (Stroke Populations)
• Project Management (for a team of Engineers, Occupational Therapists, and Clinical Personnel)
• Data Analysis
• Technical Documentation
