BrainArt - Brain Generated Art

BrainArt - Brain Generated Art

Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Neurotechnology, Art

View Project

BrainArt is an exploration into pairing creative neural networks with the actual neural networks in the human brain using interpreted brain activity. The project sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and neuroscience, where generative art models are driven by real brain signals to create unique visual outputs.

The work builds on previous brain computer interface research, letting users produce artwork through their own neural activity rather than traditional input methods. It demonstrates how biosignals can be translated into creative expression, opening possibilities for new forms of human computer interaction in the artistic domain.

This project began as a hackathon concept with Union Neurotech, a student organization I founded at Union College. It continues to be used today through NeurotechSLC.
