August 2021 - June 2023
AVATAR is an implementation system that enables real time brain computer interfaces by combining ROS and BrainFlow technologies. The project lets users remotely control a robot with their mind, a practical application of neurotechnology for robotic command and control.
The system integrates brain signal acquisition hardware such as OpenBCI devices, signal processing libraries, and robotic platforms like the TurtleBot3. By detecting and interpreting brain activity patterns through electroencephalography, the framework translates neural signals into robot control commands, creating a direct brain to machine communication pathway.
